Get Moving 6 weeks agoBeautiful summit view, at 1562ft, in Georgia’s Pine Mountain –
weighted vest on,1520 total calories, 5.5 miles and 3.5 hours later (we stopped and chatted a lot along the trek). I need to replace those calories stat🤣😆

Get Moving 6 weeks agoSo excited, the park nearby has a cross county trail that my husband and I will be walking for this challenge! (yes, I talked him into it💃) It has some challenging hills (well, for us Baby Boomers😉) trees and small ponds. I’ve been walking inside since February: 45 min. with a distance of 2.1 miles 3-5 times a week. Welcoming the outside walks, building strength, and losing weight!💪🚶♀️🚶♂️

Get Moving 6 weeks agoStarted a couple of Peloton programs today, mixing things up a bit: one is a strength program and the other is a running program.
Completed a 20 min run with 5 minutes of pre-run warm up mobility and a post run 10 min cool down walk and 15 minutes full body stretch.

Get Moving 6 weeks agoThis morning I connected with my 74 year old Wisdom Walking partner. She is from Haiti and lives just around the corner from me! Y’all, this lady can move!
We walked three and a half miles and we talked about the Blood of Jesus, anointing ourselves with oil, and evicting out of our bodies anything that is not of God! I love her so much. ❤️
