Get Moving 5 months agoDay 2…got more sleep last night so I will not be going back to bed lol. 30 minutes on the treadmill (10 more than yesterday), arm workout with 5 lb weights and lots of stretching. We’re headed to MD for a few days so I’ll get my recovery nap in the car 🤗. I am packing workout clothes but I will not be getting up at 6:00 AM lol.

Get Moving 5 months agoI used my gift cards to buy some exercise equipment and focusing on fun, active ways to accomplish my weight goal. One of my goals is to start dancing. I was jealous of the girls who took dance classes, but it’s never to do the things you missed out on as a child. I’m having fun walking with best friend, Juno, a Border Collie/Husky/Kelpie mix dog.

Get Moving 5 months agoWe’re baaaacckkk!! Ebony and Ivory hit the gym early this morning…did I say early? Lol. Jennie scooped me up at 6:15 AM and we did 45 minutes just to ease our way back. I got home around 7:25 and decided to take a “nap” before tackling the day. Y’all!! My “nap” was four hours 😫🤣. We’ll be back at it tomorrow morning. Traveling this week so I need to decide if I’m taking workout clothes. I’m trying to pack light. Stay tuned. This pic is after…day one. Thankfully the gym is in our club…

Get Moving 5 months agoMerry Monday of Meaningful Musings! Today was a hectic one, especially at work (month-end/year-end in accounting) BUT I managed to get in a lower body strength workout. I had planned to include an ab/core session, but that didn’t happen…..more importantly I realize THAT’S OK! ☺ A lil grace for ya girl. I’ll fit it in tomorrow or Wednesday, Lord willing.
