First thing that stood out to me was Noah and the first thing he did when coming out of the ark was to build an altar in order to give God a thanksgiving offering. Nothing else just giving thanks. The second thing was at the end how long they lived after having children, 100’s of years! Just wild to me!!

My question or what I just wounder about is, while in the ark those 40 days did God not speak at all to Noah? Because the text only talks about when God told Noah to come out/off the ark🤔

Im always in awe when I read God’s Word. In today’s reading, yet again, God said’ “Let us” go down and there confuse their language… NKJV. This further verifies John 1:1-2.

Good morning ladies last year I completed TBR. It was one of the best things I ever committed to. This year I’m doing reading another way. I’m doing multiple days to catch up because I wanted to wait to see how TSC was going to do it. I’m excited that the options is supported here with the reminder to give ourselves grace! So happy reading let’s prepare ourselves for LEVITICUS 😬

I appreciated reading everyone’s comments. I just thought I would share that I read the book East of Eden by John Steinbeck this summer and (not too surprising from the title!!) uses this reading to make a very strong point.. a little hard to read at times as it has some rough topics, but like all classics, amazing point in the end and each sentence was the most beautiful way to say anything!
