God was still, sovereign over the situation and He did limit the adversary’s actions. For example, the adversary could not take his life, but he could put him through some hard stuff. Spiritual Growth 3 months agoOk, so I finally started the Bible Recap and My God! It’s soo good. I’m enjoying Tara-Leigh’s breakdowns after each reading. I love the 5 prayers before each reading. I’m seeing things I’ve never seen before, and I’ve gone through the Bible several times. First Cain and Abel, then Noah and the Ark. Spiritual Growth 3 months agoAs I read Job chapters 10–13, I see a man who is exhausted, hurting, and confused, but still choosing to talk to God. In chapter 10, Job pours his heart out.
