Hi Ladies!

Been reading but haven’t had time to post. A few thoughts from these chapters.

We should not jump to conclusions on why God allows certain things to happen. Job’s friends did just that.

God and God only declare us righteous — despite our sinfulness!

Job is certain that his trial is not punishment from God, even though his friend does.

Job views God as a friend and laments the loss of that friendship.

God always reveals Himself to us — in His due time.

I woke up with an “I get to…” mindset today. I get to be a long distance caregiver for my dad and uncle. After completing the daily documentations and setting appointments, both conversations ended with them feeling loved and seen. God took away their loneliness. Being faithful in this new season has taught me that God gives me the strength to do everything He has called me to do. I get to praise Him all day!

Getting a day ahead of myself here, but I went to look at our reflection question for the weekend (Wk 2/Day14) and this one hit deep: What is hard right now? What is in your control and what is out of your control in that situation?
