Chrystal Evans Hurst
Chrystal Evans Hurst is the bestselling author of She’s Still There and coauthor of Kingdom Woman with her father, Dr. Tony Evans. She reaches millions of women each year speaking at conferences, sharing on her blog and podcast, writing for Proverbs 31 Ministries, and teaching and leading women in her home church. In addition to her work in ministry, Chrystal works at home as the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the Hurst household, cultivating hearts and commanding chaos. She is a mother of five and is homeschooling her youngest son around the kitchen table while hugging two sons now in college, two adult girls, a son-in-love and five grandchildren every chance she gets. What’s the difference between the Communicator’s Cohort and the Communicator’s Coaching?
THE COMMUNICATOR’S COHORT is designed for women who feel called to write, speak, or podcast and want to build (or rebuild) their foundation as a communicator. It offers a lower price point and a lower-commitment pathway, while still providing meaningful structure and support.

What is the cost of the Communicator’s Cohort and the Communicator’s Coaching?
The Communicator’s Cohort is a total cost of $997, with payment due at registration. Payment plans are available.
The Communicator’s Coaching is an additional investment of $2997, with payment due by January 9. Payment Plans are available.Â
Why are there 2 options – is this what’s been offered before?
In 2024, we offered two small-group coaching experiences—one for Leaders and Entrepreneurs, and one for Speakers and Writers.
In 2025, we expanded our offerings so more women could learn and grow within a supportive community. The Cohort provides that broader access.
The Coaching Track continues the original small-group coaching model by selecting a small group of women through an application process for deeper, more personalized development.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes, payment plans are available. The total cost of The Communicator’s Cohort is $997, with payment due at registration. This total can be paid in 3 payments of $399.Â
The total cost for The Communicator’s Coaching is $2997, in addition to the Cohort Registration fee. Payment is due January 9, and payment plans are available, paying $1049 in three payments.
What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of the program and limited availability, we are unable to offer refunds. However, registrations are transferable. Should you need to transfer your registration, you are responsible for handling your transfer and any financial exchanges between you and the person taking over your registration. You’ll simply need to provide us with the name and email of the person taking your place. You can email us at hello@chrystalevanshurst.com if you need to process a transfer.
Is there an ongoing opportunity beyond the 90 days?
Yes! We believe it’s important to give an ongoing opportunity to continue to review and apply all that you learn in the Communicator’s experience. This is why we developed the Continuum in November 2024.
For Cohort participants, the Continuum Growth Track offers:
- Monthly Masterclass Replay
- Monthly Co-Working Sessions
- Access to the full Masterclass Library (1+ year of content)
- An online cohort community
- A year-long pathway of practical learning + connection
For Coaching participants, the Continuum Coaching Track offers:

- A supported, year-long rhythm of clarity, accountability, and progress
How much time does the cohort require?
Plan for 2–3 hours per week.
Each week includes a teaching video (10–35 minutes), which you can watch on your own or during Weekly Study Hall on Thursdays at 11:00 am CT. Weekly homework typically takes an hour or less.
Do I need a topic or message already?
No. Cohort participants range from women sensing a calling with no clear direction yet to women who have published work, host podcasts, or speak regularly. You do not need to arrive with a defined message. If you have a more developed sense of your target audience and message, that’s great too!
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. Replays of Chrystal’s Q&A from Study Hall are added weekly inside the course platform. Coaching Track participants also receive replays of their Weekly Coaching Calls.
While participation is strongly encouraged—especially if you plan to apply for the Coaching Track—occasional absences are completely understandable.
Is the coaching track interview-based?
No. Everyone who registers for the Cohort can apply for the Coaching Track, and all applications are reviewed by a team. Interviews are not part of the process, although applicants may be asked to submit brief video responses to specific questions.
Can I switch tracks later?
No. Once you choose a track, that is your pathway for the 90-day experience.
Afterward:
- Cohort participants may join the Continuum Growth Track.
- Coaching participants may join the Continuum Coaching Track
Is this for beginners or experienced communicators?
Both. The Communicator’s Cohort welcomes growth-minded communicators at any stage—from brand-new beginners to women with years of speaking, writing, or podcasting experience. What matters most is your willingness to learn, practice, and grow. Wherever you’re starting, the Cohort provides structure, support, and clear next steps.
Will Chrystal personally review my work?
Chrystal is not able to review individual assignments. Peer support and feedback are an important part of the Cohort experience. At times, Chrystal may request specific assignments for team review.
Do I have to stay after the 90 Days?
No. Both the Cohort and the Coaching Track are 90-day experiences. Afterward, you have the option—but not the obligation—to continue in the Continuum for deeper learning and long-term community support.
What is the Continuum?
 The Continuum is our ongoing professional development pathway designed to extend your growth after the 90-day Communicator’s experience. It’s a year-long program with flexible entry and exit.
After the Cohort, you may join the Continuum Growth Track for continued learning and community support.
After the Coaching Track, you may join the Continuum Coaching Track for extended coaching and deeper development.
